Service Description
In this hands-on class, you'll salt, season, and mix your own batch of traditional poggi (whole cabbage) kimchi — and take it home in a sealed container to enjoy. Open to all skill levels, conducted in both English and Korean. ✅Festival dates: Aug 28–29, 2026 ✅Location: Kimchi & Kimbap Pavilion, Coquitlam Town Centre Park ✅Class size: Up to 100 per session ✅Duration: 50 minutes ✅Language: English & Korean 📌 What's included - All kimchi ingredients, gloves, apron, and airtight takeaway container - Step-by-step instruction from certified kimchi instructors - Tasting of 6 traditional kimchi varieties: poggi, kkakdugi, baek, yeolmu, gat, and pa - Bilingual instruction (English & Korean) - Free admission to the main stage Kimchi-Making Demonstration (open to all festival visitors) ✅ Allergy notice: This class uses traditional ingredients including fermented salted shrimp (saeujeot) and anchovy fish sauce (aekjeot). Participants with seafood allergies should not register. Ingredient substitutions cannot be accommodated. 📌 Sessions fill quickly — early booking is strongly recommended. Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your session for check-in.
