Service Description

Heat sugar, add baking soda, pour into a mold, and carefully press out one of four classic shapes star, circle, umbrella, or triangle. A unique, hands-on experience for all ages running at four stations simultaneously throughout both festival days. ✅ Festival dates: Aug 28–29, 2026 ✅ Location: Korean Traditional Games Hall, Coquitlam Town Centre Park ✅ Daily capacity: Max 100 per day (first-come, first-served) ✅ Per-slot capacity: 12 participants per hour ✅ Language: English & Korean 📌 What's included - All materials: sugar, baking soda, molds, and tools provided - Choice of 4 mold shapes: star, circle, umbrella, and triangle - Supervised hands-on heating and molding experience at 4 simultaneous stations - Completed dalgona candy to enjoy on the spot 📌 How booking works - Each time slot accommodates 12 participants. - Online pre-registration is required to secure your spot. Slots open daily from 11:00 AM until the daily maximum of 100 participants is reached. - Walk-ins on the day are subject to remaining availability only. - Book your preferred time slot online at www.kimchifest.ca. Once the daily limit of 100 is reached, registration for that day closes automatically. 📌 Safety notice: This class involves heating sugar to high temperatures. A dedicated safety officer is on-site at all times. Safety fencing is installed around all heating stations. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the class.
