*Eco Deposit Policy
To help maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible festival site, all vendors are required to pay a refundable $200 Eco-Deposit in addition to their booth fee.
The Eco-Deposit is not a penalty. It is a refundable deposit designed to ensure that each vendor takes full responsibility for cleaning and restoring their booth area after the festival.
The $200 Eco-Deposit will be refunded within 10 business days after the Festival, subject to a satisfactory post-event booth inspection by the Festival organizer.
Vendor Cleanup Responsibilities
Before leaving the festival site, each vendor must:
- Remove all garbage, food waste, packaging materials, cardboard boxes, decorations, and personal or business items from their booth area.
- Dispose of all waste and recyclable materials only in the designated disposal areas.
- Properly separate garbage, recycling, cardboard, and food waste.
- Ensure that no oil, sauce, liquid, ice water, or cooking-related waste is poured onto the ground, grass, drains, or public areas.
- Return any festival-rented equipment to the designated location.
- Leave the booth area and surrounding space clean and clear.
- Follow all cleanup instructions provided by the Festival organizer and site operations team.
Eco-Deposit Forfeiture
The Eco-Deposit may be partially or fully forfeited if a vendor fails to comply with the Festival’s waste-management and cleanup requirements.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Leaving garbage, cardboard boxes, food waste, packaging materials, decorations, or other items behind.
- Disposing of waste or recycling in non-designated areas.
- Improperly disposing of food waste, oil, liquids, or cooking-related waste.
- Causing damage, contamination, or excessive mess in the booth area or surrounding festival site.
- Failing to follow the organizer’s cleanup instructions.
- Requiring the Festival team to perform additional cleaning, waste removal, equipment recovery, or site restoration after the vendor has left.
Any forfeited Eco-Deposit amount may be used to cover cleaning, waste removal, repair, recovery, or additional labour costs.
